Functional Consultant for D365 Commerce

We are seeking a seasoned Functional Consultant to collaborate with our global client in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce.

  • The ideal candidate will lead workshops to gather business requirements related to retail operations and point-of-sale systems.
  • Responsibilities include configuring and customizing D365 Commerce modules, ensuring seamless integration with other finance and supply chain modules.
  • The successful consultant will provide end-to-end support during implementation phases, including user acceptance testing, training, and go-live.
  • Developing functional documentation, troubleshooting POS-related issues, and staying updated on Microsoft's roadmap for D365 Commerce are also key responsibilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce/Retail.
  • Hands-on experience with D365 POS (Modern POS, Cloud POS, Store Commerce).
  • Strong understanding of retail business processes, including sales, inventory, promotions, and customer management.
  • Experience with lifecycle services (LCS), Azure DevOps, and D365 configuration tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Microsoft certifications in D365 Commerce or related modules (preferred).
