Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Security Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security assurance team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the security and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans to verify system security, including functional, security, fuzz, negative, performance, and stress testing.
  • Result Analysis: Investigate and analyze test results in continuous integration environments, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to debug issues identified during test cycles and create targeted test plans to ensure system security.
  • Custom Applications: Develop custom embedded applications as needed.
Required Skills:
  • Software Development Background: Strong background as a Software Developer or Software Developer in Test (SDET).
  • Computer Networking: Solid understanding of computer networking, including IP and Telnet protocols.
  • Cryptographic Operations: Experience with cryptographic operations, algorithms, and common security functionalities.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in C, Java, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written).
Preferred Skills:
  • Task Management: Hands-on experience with task management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Continuous Integration: Exposure to continuous integration (CI) environments.
  • Team Leadership: Prior experience in team leadership and/or coordination.
  • IoT Domain: Knowledge of the IoT domain and its security implications.
