SAP HANA Database Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP HANA system architecture and Linux operating systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical incident handling, message processing, and root cause analysis. They will also perform installation, patching, upgrades, and migrations of SAP HANA systems, monitor system performance, execute tuning activities, and ensure regular backups and recovery procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Installation, Patching, Upgrades, and Migrations of SAP HANA Systems
  • Monitoring System Performance and Executing Tuning Activities
  • Ensuring Regular Backups and Recovery Procedures
  • Managing High Availability and Disaster Recovery Readiness for HANA Environments

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HANA Studio for monitoring, performance tuning, and alert management. They should also be proficient in backup and recovery management, including point-in-time recovery and backup troubleshooting.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with 3-6 years of experience in database administration. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with international teams are essential.
