The Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Insights Director to join our team in Hyderabad and Bangalore; India. As a Data Insights Director at MarketStar, you will play a key role in developing and implementing business intelligence solutions to support our sales and marketing efforts.

About the Job

Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of data analysts and business intelligence professionals to design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to understand business needs and develop actionable insights and recommendations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement business intelligence solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
  2. Analyze complex data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data visualizations and reports that provide actionable insights.
  4. Lead a team of data analysts and business intelligence professionals to design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions.
  5. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create alerts to proactively identify anomalies or potential issues.
  6. Drive continuous improvement of BI processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the overall effectiveness of the BI function.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data, and someone with at least 5 years of experience leading a team.
  • Degree in Business Analytics/Business Administration/Business Communication/Marketing.
  • Proven work experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of data concepts, data modeling, and database design principles.

Salary Range: ₹2,500,000 - ₹3,500,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
