Job Title: Senior Reserving Actuary

Reserve Insurance Liabilities and Ensure Business Growth

Role Description:

As a senior reserving actuary, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and estimating reserves for P&C insurance products. You will work closely with the reserving team to collaborate on data analysis, actuarial calculations, and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement reserve estimation models using advanced statistical techniques.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and finance departments to ensure accurate reserve estimates align with business goals.
  • Conduct regular reviews of existing reserving methods and techniques to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present actuarial findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, or statistics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry, with a strong background in actuarial reserving.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, VBA, SAS, and other relevant tools for data analysis and modeling.
