About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned actuary to fill this senior role, responsible for delivering strategic actuarial services and leading projects in life technology.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage automation technology skills in actuarial work, helping clients drive digital transformation and optimise their processes.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement actuarial models using proprietary software for tasks like statutory liability computation, pricing, embedded value, and appraisal value.
  • Manage IFRS17 and asset liability management projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Design and develop automated solutions for clients across various life insurance products and actuarial models.
  • Collaborate with project leaders to understand priorities and contribute to revenue generation by identifying new client offerings.
  • Build intellectual capital through innovation opportunities and participate in learning and development programs.
  • Provide insights and solutions based on analysis, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work on complex actuarial modelling projects, including data analysis, model development, and presentation of results.
  2. Maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  3. Ensure effective communication within the team and with clients, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
  4. Prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in actuarial science, particularly in life insurance and financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS17 and asset liability management principles.
  • Proficiency in using proprietary software for actuarial modelling and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing junior colleagues and building relationships with clients.
