Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable hybrid cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles, as well as experience with Azure, VMware, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure platforms.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including migrations, provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
    • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable Hybrid cloud infrastructure.
    • Implement hybrid cloud architectures using Azure, VMware, and HCI platforms.
    • Ensure the security of the VMware environment by applying patches, updates, and configuring security settings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure Networking, AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop), and Azure PaaS (Platform as a Service).
  • Consulting Background: Proven experience in consulting roles, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.
  • Backup & DR: Proficiency in backup tools and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus.
