Overview:

  • Supervise General Ledger account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and treasury management

  • Perform ratio analysis and logical reasoning to ensure General Ledger accuracy
  • Monitor GST, TDS, and other tax compliances
  • Measure team performance and prepare monthly KPI metrics
  • Adhere to information security and control procedures
  • Identify training requirements for the team and conduct sessions as needed

Key Requirements:

This position requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, including double entry accounting, income tax, GST, and statutory audit. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a high degree of integrity and commitment to data confidentiality.

Technical Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in MS Office Suite, VB, and Power Tools, as well as experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. Familiarity with reporting tools such as HFM and Essbase is preferred. Knowledge of US GAAP is an added advantage.

Experience:

Strong experience in General Ledger, taxation, and statutory audit is essential. A minimum of 5+ years of post-article-ship experience in finance and accounting, specifically in a manufacturing industry, is required.
