We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing main electrical equipment and materials, preparing and reviewing technical specifications and data sheets, and preparing electrical equipment and material sizing calculations.

In addition, the candidate will manage requisitions for inquiry and purchase of electrical equipment and bulk materials, and conduct technical bid evaluations of offers for electrical equipment and bulk materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design: Design main electrical equipment and materials.
  • Tech Specs: Prepare and review technical specifications and data sheets.
  • Cals: Prepare electrical equipment and material sizing calculations.
  • HAC, Panel Schedules, Wiring Diagrams, Control Schematics: Prepare Hazardous Area Classification, Panel schedules, Interconnection and Wiring Diagrams, Control Schematics.
  • Purchase Management: Manage requisition for Inquiry and Purchase of Electrical Equipment's and Bulk Materials.
  • Bid Evaluation: Technical Bid Evaluation of Offers for Electrical Equipment's and Bulk Materials.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Power Plant, and Petrochemical sectors.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate:

  • Strong skills in single line drawings and schematics.
  • Expertise in lighting, earthing, and lightning calculations.
  • Good knowledge in Hazardous area classification, and International Codes & Standards like IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, NACE, ASME, ANSI, IP, API, ASTM, ISO, Shell DEP.
  • Awareness of health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Effective communication skills.
