About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Investment Banking Analyst to join our Corporate and Investment Banking & Investment Research (CIB & IR) team. As a member of this team, you will work closely with our investment banking team to support bankers in several critical research tasks, including comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, industry research, company/M&A screening, and newsletter preparation.

Key Responsibilities

* Serve as a member of the investment banking team at Evalueserve
* Support bankers in several critical research tasks, including comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, industry research, company/M&A screening, and newsletter preparation
* Prepare pitch books, industry overviews, detailed company profiles, management biographies, brokers' outlooks, share price performance, evolution of industry/peers' valuation multiples, and possible buyer/seller opportunities
* Maintain efficiency in working independently on complex projects
* Deliver error-free projects and client communications
* Create and maintain databases
* Allocate projects to team members depending on their industry expertise and skills and resolve their project-related queries
* Perform quality checks on client deliverables
* Train and guide junior and new analysts and other team members

Requirements

* About 8-10 years of work experience
* Support investment banking firms on various products, such as pitch books, benchmarking analysis, company comparables, precedent transaction analysis, databases, screening, industry studies, ad-hoc research, etc.
* Handle responsibilities such as allocating work, running quality checks on deliverables, training and guiding team members, maintaining efficiency, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs), and internal client communication
* Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize them
* Strong strategic management capabilities with highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions
* Provide effective, constructive, timely, and objective feedback to team members for their overall grooming and development
* Handle ad-hoc research and recurring requests as per client requirements
