Job Description:

As a UI/UX Designer for AgTech, you will be responsible for designing user experiences that drive adoption and retention for our farmer-centric digital platforms. You will own the design strategy and quarterly UX roadmap aligned to our business and product goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning design strategy and quarterly UX roadmap aligned to business and product goals\
  • Translating product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fi delity designs using Figma and Miro\
  • Defining and maintaining design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual and functional consistency\
  • Partnering with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria\
  • Conducting end-to-end user research: interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing with farmers, FPOs, and partners\
  • Championing UX for rural contexts: vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues\
  • Collaborating closely with Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect handoff, clarity on design specifications, and smooth implementation\
  • Running design experiments (A/B testing, prototypes) and analyzing outcomes to optimize key funnels (onboarding, engagement, transactions)\
  • Ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, data privacy guidelines, and local regulations in all user interfaces\
  • Maintaining awareness of industry trends, competitor interfaces, and evolving UX best practices to keep us ahead\
  • Reporting weekly on design progress, open issues, and risks; ensuring alignment with Product and Engineering teams\
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch new features and products\
  • Developing and maintaining design systems, UI patterns, and style guides\
  • Providing training and support to other designers and stakeholders\
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and emerging design practices\
  • Contributing to the development of design principles and guidelines\
  • Participating in design critiques and feedback sessions\
  • Coaching and mentoring junior designers\
  • Supporting the growth and development of the design team\
