Electronics Engineering Leadership Opportunity

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of high-voltage electronics, mixed-signal systems, FPGA development, and timing control.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop the timing and synchronization backbone for lockstep operation with optics, detectors, motion, and software.
  2. Build mixed-signal boards including beam control drivers, detector front-ends, data-acquisition, and robust control I/O.
  3. Ensure clean, stable power and grounding/shielding for quiet images and strong EMC behavior.
  4. Provide diagnostics, fixtures, and logs for field-debuggable issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics gear.
  • Strong bench skills with scopes, analyzers, and bring-up; pragmatic about testability and manufacturability.
  • Collaborative and documentation-minded with an interface and failure mode mindset.

Deliverables:

  • Deterministic, synchronized operation across subsystems.
  • Stable, low-noise performance visible in images and analytics.
  • Lossless capture during long runs and lean EMC pre-checks.
