Senior Hardware Designer Job Overview

The Senior Hardware Designer will be responsible for designing and developing complex electronic systems, including hardware architecture, electrical engineering, and embedded electronics design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed specifications and designs for electronic systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components, ensuring seamless system operation.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to electronic system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this expertise to drive innovation and improve product competitiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 6-9 years of experience in electronic system design and development, preferably in the industrial or automotive sector.
  3. Expertise in Altium tool suite, with proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout design.
  4. Familiarity with vehicle bus communication protocols, EMI/EMC design, and thermal management for ECU embedded electronics.
  5. Ability to handle multiple expertise domains and participate in design reviews.
