Job Title: User Interface Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled professional to join our team as a User Interface Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing the user interface of software applications to ensure they meet design specifications, are intuitive to use, and provide a seamless user experience across platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UI functionality, design specifications, and cross-browser/device testing methodologies. They will work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify and resolve UI defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with business requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test UI Functionality: Execute manual and automated tests to verify that the user interface functions as intended across web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.
  • Validate Design Specifications: Ensure UI elements (e.g., buttons, menus, forms, layouts) adhere to design mockups, wireframes, and style guides.
  • Cross-Browser/Device Testing: Test applications on various browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (e.g., iOS, Android, tablets, desktops) to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
  • Identify and Report Bugs: Log defects in bug-tracking tools with clear descriptions, steps to reproduce, and screenshots/videos.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UI testing, quality assurance, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with UI testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other front-end technologies.
