Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our global engineering team in the development and delivery of innovative products. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing best engineering practices, fostering a culture of continuous innovation, and driving scalability.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader who can navigate ambiguity and make critical decisions under pressure. As an Engineering Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize launches and requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software engineering principles, backend programming languages, and cloud platforms such as Azure. Experience in security engineering, crypto concepts, and payment infrastructure is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a global engineering team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and scope are met.
  • Set engineering standards and practices, promoting code quality, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Go-To-Market teams to define and execute product roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Actively participate in recruiting efforts and contribute to performance management, training, and development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a management role.
  • Strong proficiency in backend programming languages and cloud platforms.
  • A security first mindset, with good knowledge of common security concepts.
  • An understanding of crypto concepts, payment infrastructure, and RESTful API design principles.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep understanding of payment infrastructure, cryptocurrency, APIs, and security.
  • Interest in crypto and fintech, including knowledge of blockchain technology, digital assets, and financial regulations.
