Senior ASIC Physical Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior ASIC Physical Design Specialist to lead our team in the development of cutting-edge digital semiconductor products. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team.

About the Role
  • This position involves leading all aspects of physical design for full-chip and block-level designs, including floorplanning, placement, routing, timing analysis, and signal integrity (SI) analysis and closure.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing low-power solutions, working closely with the methodology team to solve implementation challenges, and providing input to improve the physical design flow.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design automation and optimization using various tools and methodologies.
  2. Development and maintenance of design libraries, scripts, and documentation.
  3. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in ASIC physical design, with a strong focus on full-chip and block-level designs.
  • Proficiency in design automation tools, such as Cadence and Synopsys.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a full-chip floorplanning, routing, or timing lead for a large silicon project.
  • Track record of taping out complex chips on advanced process nodes.
