The role of a Supply Chain Planner is pivotal in managing stock replenishment across assigned areas, defining optimal safety stock levels, and maintaining equilibrium in stock levels to navigate uncertainties in demand & supply.
- Effective distribution planning entails ensuring timely finished goods delivery of consumer promotions, new launches, and seasonal plans in harmony with demand & supply teams.
- Maintaining high stock freshness across all facilities and devising strategies to minimize SLOBs.
Main responsibilities include:
- Daily stock availability monitoring and distribution planning for all facilities.
- Aligning with logistics teams on dispatch schedules and releasing coordinated dispatch plans.
- Ensuring maximum truck utilization for vehicle movements and reducing transportation costs.
Evaluation criteria encompass fill rate, stock freshness, and control/reduction of SLOBs.
