About the Role

This Sustainability Specialist will focus on ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, minimizing ecological footprint, and driving innovation in sustainability practices. The role is a mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution, requiring a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sustainability Strategy: Develop comprehensive sustainability plans that support long-term environmental goals, including identifying key impact areas, setting measurable targets, and aligning with global ESG frameworks.
  • Data & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report environmental performance data, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and waste management, preparing ESG disclosures and sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Audits: Ensure regulatory compliance by supporting environmental audits, maintaining documentation, and implementing corrective actions where needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to promote sustainable practices, leading awareness campaigns and sustainability workshops to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the company's ecological footprint and ensure business continuity.
  • Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of industry trends by researching new technologies, materials, and methods that can enhance sustainability performance, recommending and piloting innovative solutions.
  • Training & Awareness: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on sustainability practices, environmental compliance, and corporate responsibility.
  • Project Management: Lead or support green projects such as energy efficiency upgrades, waste reduction programs, and sustainability certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, LEED).
