Production Planning Specialist in SAP S/4HANAJob Description:We are seeking a seasoned Production Planning Specialist to lead the implementation and support of SAP S/4HANA PP module. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with SAP Production Planning module, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and configure SAP S/4HANA PP module to meet business requirements.
  • Analyze and understand manufacturing processes to recommend best practices and SAP solutions.
  • Configure core PP components such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, Production Orders, BOMs, Routing, and Work Centers.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including SAP MM, SD, QM, and FI modules.
  • Provide expert support for SAP PP post-go-live issues and deliver timely resolutions to minimize production disruptions.
  • Identify and implement system enhancements, custom reports, and interfaces to improve production planning accuracy and reporting capabilities.
  • Assist in data migration and validation activities during SAP S/4HANA upgrades or new implementations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience working with the SAP Production Planning (PP) module in SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning concepts, and shop floor execution within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Proven experience with configuration and customization of key SAP PP components.
  • Familiarity with integration points between SAP PP and other modules.
  • Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and functionalities.
  • Experience supporting SAP PP in both implementation and ongoing support/enhancement projects.
  • Ability to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend SAP solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
