Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Digital Infrastructure Specialist to provide timely and effective technical support for our global employees.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth operation of personal computers, troubleshooting domestic computer hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide prompt resolution and documentation of all problems and service requests using established procedures.
  • Develop detailed documentation of installation and configuration procedures for standard and non-standard software packages.
  • Manage the deployment and rollout of software and hardware solutions across the organization.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of company assets, including desktop equipment and peripherals.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to support users.
  • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to ensure network assets are secure and protected from potential threats.
  • Update the problem management database with relevant information in accordance with service levels.
  • Gather and log essential details about each issue and attempt to resolve it using available tools and collective knowledge.
  • Utilize the knowledge base to facilitate troubleshooting efforts and share experiences with team members.
  • Assist in the deployment of desktop PCs and peripherals, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • On-board new employees with comprehensive orientation to computer assets and systems.
  • Respond promptly to voice mail and email inquiries.
  • Develop a working knowledge of all supported desktop applications and operating systems, providing assistance and troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in desktop and/or helpdesk support is required.
  • Prior experience with current standard desktop software (Microsoft Office, Windows) is essential.
  • Fluent English language skills are necessary; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Experience working with international clients is highly valued.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP is an asset.
  • Previous experience in desktop or helpdesk support is advantageous.
