About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Elasticsearch Administrator to enhance our team's capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the performance of our Elasticsearch and Splunk clusters, identifying potential problems, planning changes for high-load events, applying security patches, testing incremental upgrades, and extending our monitoring infrastructure.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure optimal performance of Elasticsearch and Splunk clusters
  • Develop and execute strategies for high availability and scalability
  • Apply security updates and test incremental upgrades
  • Enhance our monitoring and alert infrastructure

Requirements:

  • 6-12 years of experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in administration and management of Elasticsearch clusters
  • Strong knowledge in provisioning and configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Rundeck, etc.
  • Experience in building automations and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Packer or CloudFormation templates
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Prometheus, PagerDuty, etc.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Go, Ruby, Perl, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Pipelines, Artifactory, etc.
