Senior Data Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Developer to join our global Distribution team. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing team working on a high-profile project, providing analytical solutions for sales teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement data-driven solutions using state-of-the-art technologies.
  • To work collaboratively with diverse teams of technologists to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • To apply best development practices and effectively utilize technologies to build responsive applications in Agile & Lean environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field (computer science, mathematics, etc.) with 5+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer in Big Data. Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python/Scala) and Big Data technologies (Spark/Databricks or equivalent) is essential.

Mandatory Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python/Scala programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of Big Data technologies (Spark/Databricks).
  • Able to accurately estimate the development effort required for specific objectives.
