Description:
The role is that of Intellectual Property Analyst in a leading aerospace company located in Bangalore. As an Intellectual Property Analyst, you will work in cross-functional teams of technologists, IP Strategy team, IP Intelligence team, and IP Counsels to develop patent analytics for the business. You will execute IP Analytics with limited guidance in the domains of Gas turbine engine mechanical domains such as bearings, lubrications, thermal systems, mechanical design, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Searching, analyzing, and compiling technical, commercial, and patent information using a variety of free and subscribed databases which will provide insights to technologists, leadership, and legal team.
- Providing various types of analyses such as those for patent technology landscape, patentability of inventions, SWOT analysis, and freedom to practice landscapes.
- Working with assigned technical area or business segment to develop strategic IP including trade secrets, patent applications.
Required Qualifications:
Aerospace Engineer with minimum 6 years experience in engineering, research, IP analysis. Willingness to learn and build expertise in Intellectual Property Analytics methods and tools. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work with global teams, possess excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in team environment. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills. Passion for technology and excellence.
