Fraud Analyst

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving complex fraud cases, leveraging your expertise in Mastercard chargeback processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of dispute case files, analyzing transaction data and supporting documentation to determine case validity and liability.
  • Analyze patterns and emerging trends in fraud activity, providing actionable insights to prevention teams.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including teams involved in customer disputes, to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispute activities for compliance purposes, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in fraud, disputes, or chargebacks, with a focus on Mastercard rules and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent our company's interests in dispute proceedings.
  • Familiarity with fraud detection tools and case management systems, as well as regulatory requirements such as Reg E and Reg Z.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in financial institutions or payment processing companies.
  • Knowledge of both issuer and acquirer dispute processes.
  • Professional certifications in fraud or payments, such as CFE or CAFP, are a plus.
