Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Management Expert to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods, services, and information from raw materials to end customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential suppliers to localize product sourcing in India
  • Procure engineering goods, services, and software
  • Source contractor support for the engineering function
  • Set negotiation terms for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies
  • Execute supply chain strategies
  • Analyze prices proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonable prices
  • Evaluate vendors' capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness

Requirements:

  • Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a university degree, combined with experience
  • Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a Premier Engineering Institute
  • A minimum of 8 years of functional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrating creativity and technical expertise
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and work across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • High degree of independence
  • Problem-solving attitude with a focus on teamwork
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Office, PowerPoint)
  • Relentless drive to overachieve, outstanding team player, strategic vision with the ability to execute
  • Excel in a matrix organization, work in a fast-paced team-based environment
  • Ability to work on complex problems in an ambiguous environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Power BI, JDE (SAP support) systems
