Database Architect

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing and implementing data management solutions, working with large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management:
    • Develop comprehensive data mapping specifications and transformation rules to ensure seamless data flow.
    • Perform rigorous data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities to maintain data accuracy.
    • Create and execute efficient data conversion scripts and processes to meet business requirements.
  • System Integration:
    • Configure integrations between Workday and third-party applications to streamline workflows.
    • Develop integration specifications and technical designs to facilitate effective system interaction.
    • Troubleshoot integration issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Technical Configuration & Development:
    • Design and implement Snowflake data models optimized for HR analytics to drive informed decision-making.
    • Create and maintain Snowflake objects (tables, views, stored procedures) to support robust data management.
    • Develop SQL transformations within Snowflake for reporting requirements to provide actionable insights.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Develop reporting solutions using Snowflake as the data source to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
    • Create data visualization dashboards connected to Snowflake to enhance understanding of complex data sets.
    • Build self-service reporting capabilities for HR and business users to empower data analysis.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in HRIS implementation, data management, or system integration.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday/Greenhouse data conversion, integration, or reporting.
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data transformation tools.
