Quality Assurance Engineer Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications and systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Test Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Test Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover functional, performance, and usability aspects of software applications or systems.
  • Test Execution: Execute test cases and procedures, both manually and using automated testing tools, to identify defects, validate functionality, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Defect Management: Document and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes and updates do not adversely impact existing functionality and performance.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing, load testing, and stress testing to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness under different conditions.
Requirements

  • Extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.
