Senior QA Automation Engineer Position

This is a senior quality assurance automation role emphasizing strong coding skills—especially with Cypress and JavaScript.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated testing frameworks using Cypress and JavaScript to ensure seamless software functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams in an agile setting to integrate automation, testing, and CI/CD (Jenkins) for efficient project delivery.
  • Work on automating web application testing using UI automation tools: Selenium (Ruby), Cypress, Playwright for improved user experience.
  • Develop REST API testing experience and configure custom plugins for Jenkins to enhance the testing process.
  • Participate in the design and development of enterprise automation solutions with expertise in parallelism and distribution to streamline operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field to possess necessary programming knowledge.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in software/web application testing to ensure comprehensive understanding of testing principles.
  • At least 3 years of experience in agile environments to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong hands-on coding in Cypress and JavaScript to develop innovative testing solutions.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/Python programming languages to accommodate diverse project requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with UI automation tools: Selenium (Ruby), Cypress, Playwright to automate testing tasks efficiently.
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript, CSS, web standards to ensure consistent software quality.
