Job Description:

The Electrical Engineer will be part of a high-performance engineering team providing cutting-edge services to various projects. This individual will provide support to project leaders and engineers, and is responsible for supervising junior engineers and designers. They will lead the team in resolving technical issues related to their discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver project requirements
  • Develop Engineering Work Packages (EWPs) in consultation with senior engineers
  • Compile and deliver monthly engineering status reports
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical discussions
  • Represent their discipline in project engineering coordination meetings
  • Develop and review project procedures, standard specifications, and design criteria
  • Evaluate technical work prepared by junior engineers and designers
  • Ensure relevant technical experts are involved in the design process and facilitate knowledge sharing
  • Perform conceptual and detailed engineering design
  • Prepare technical documents and reports as required
  • Provide training and support to resources assigned to the project
  • Ensure safety in design and measurement of progress on all contracts
  • Document value additions and best practices and communicate them to colleagues
  • Support technology and project teams for development and automation works
  • Ensure compliance with quality and document management processes
  • Manage performance data of reportees and provide periodic feedback
  • Provide resource loading forecasts to team leaders
  • Keep records of learnings during the project and provide inputs to project managers
  • Prepare technical specifications, bid evaluations, and technical recommendations where required
