Job Title: Cloud Services Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Services Expert to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and supporting enterprise-level cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Azure services, infrastructure automation, security best practices, and DevOps tools. They will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing Azure cloud architectures including compute, storage, networking, and identity solutions.
  • Managing and optimizing Azure services like Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, Azure Functions, and more.
  • Planning and executing cloud migration strategies for on-premise or hybrid workloads.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
  • Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or related tools.
  • Monitoring and managing cloud resource usage and costs, optimizing workloads for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensuring security and compliance of cloud resources with best practices and frameworks (e.g., Azure Security Center, Azure Policies, RBAC, Key Vault).
  • Setting up and managing backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes using native Azure tools.
  • Performing routine health checks, diagnostics, and performance tuning of cloud systems.
  • Staying up to date on Azure services, features, and best practices; providing recommendations for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with development, security, and IT teams to ensure infrastructure supports the application lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
  • Experience in deploying and managing Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, Firewalls, and NSGs.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for automation and orchestration.
  • Solid knowledge of identity and access management (Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access).
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Nice to Have:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or similar certification.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-prem to cloud migrations.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, cost management, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
  • Understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and zero-trust architecture.
  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
