Location: Delhi, India

Duration: Full Time and Contractors and On Support contractors (At least 5 hours offline)

Primary Skills:

  • Cloud Platform Engineering (5 years of experience) - Cluster (70%), Application (30%)
  • Azure (4 years of experience)

Overall Experience: 4 to 10 years

Job Summary: A highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Engineer on Azure is required to join our team. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Azure.

Responsibilities:Cloud Platform Management:
  • Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters on Azure.
  • Extensive experience in microservice application deployment in OpenShift
  • Perform upgrades, patching, and maintenance of OpenShift environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to OpenShift and its underlying infrastructure.
  • Utilize Kubernetes and OpenShift features for application deployment, scaling, and management.
  • Optimize OpenShift performance and resource utilization.
Azure Infrastructure:
  • Design and implement Azure infrastructure to support OpenShift deployments, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  • Manage and optimize Azure networking, security, and monitoring.
  • Integrate OpenShift with various Azure services.
Security and Compliance:
  • Implement security best practices for OpenShift and Azure environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Implement and manage security policies within the Azure and OpenShift environments.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
Containerization and Orchestration:
  • Develop and maintain container (Docker/OCI-Images) & orchestration (i.e. Kubernetes/ OpenShift/ AKS/ EKS/ GKS).
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
Automation and Monitoring:
  • Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages (i.e., Bash, Python) and automation tools.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for OpenShift and Azure infrastructure.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (i.e., Terraform, ARM templates).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Experience: 6+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with a focus on OpenShift and Azure.
