Job Title: Raw Material Inventory Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Raw Material Inventory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our raw material store. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping of raw materials in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all raw materials are properly labeled, identified, and stored to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular stock verification and reconcile physical vs. system stock to prevent discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Quality teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
  • Maintain a FIFO/FEFO system for material issuance to optimize inventory levels.
  • Monitor storage conditions to prevent damage to raw materials.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and GMP regulations for raw material handling to maintain high-quality products.
  • Manage documentation, including GRNs, stock registers, bin cards, and SAP entries to maintain accurate records.
  • Identify slow-moving or expired raw materials and coordinate for proper disposal to minimize waste.
  • Support audits by ensuring documentation accuracy and store readiness to maintain a smooth audit process.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Science, or Commerce.
  • 5+ years of experience in raw material store management, preferably in pharmaceuticals or manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of inventory management techniques, including FIFO and FEFO.
