Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking a Data Insights Specialist who can drive data-backed decisions for our retail and e-commerce channels. This role involves working with raw data to generate actionable insights that inform business strategies.

  • Analyse sales performance, customer behaviour, pricing, and inventory levels across retail and online platforms.
  • Collect, clean, and structure raw data from various sources including POS, ERP, CRM, Google Analytics, and marketplaces.
  • Develop dashboards and automated reports using Power BI or Tableau to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead demand forecasting, product evaluation, assortment analysis, and customer segmentation initiatives.
  • Conduct micro-level and predictive analysis to support marketing, merchandising, and supply chain planning.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in retail/wholesale analytics.
  • Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Solid understanding of retail KPIs, sales metrics, and inventory data.
  • Experience with POS, ERP, and retail analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • Background in omni-channel or eCommerce environments.
