Senior Linux Administrator

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Linux Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of our Linux servers.

  • LVM and FS management: You should have experience in creating, extending, and troubleshooting LVM concepts, as well as managing file systems.
  • Multipath concept: We require you to validate multipath configurations, add Luns, and enable multipath on our servers.
  • Performance optimization: You will ensure that performance specifications are met by optimizing server configurations.
  • Vulnerability management: The ideal candidate should evaluate and correct OS vulnerabilities by patching our servers.
  • Troubleshooting: You will coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware and OS-level issues.
  • Log rotation and storage management: Our system requires efficient log rotation and storage management, including changing permissions and ownership.
  • Change implementation: As an administrator, you will implement changes at the OS level based on application and DB team requirements.
  • SLA compliance: You must follow Do's and Don'ts as per SLA while handling business-as-usual tasks and adhering to Wirpo and Customer Process.
  • Service management: Your responsibilities include managing NTP, SSH, AUTOFS, and other services.
  • Server access and bootable issues: You will troubleshoot and fix server access and bootable issues, including fixing GRUB.
  • OS troubleshooting: You must bring up servers efficiently and effectively.
  • OS migration: Experience with OS migration is an added advantage.
