Job Overview

Sandoz continues to evolve as a global leader in sustainable Biosimilar and Generic medicines.

  • Engineers execute technical activities using reliable and cost-effective solutions.
  • They are responsible for maintenance & calibration activities and commissioning activities for projects at site level.
  • Plant engineering team supervisors provide technical assistance and ensure the best possible maintenance, repair and/or modifications are undertaken.
  • Design execution and hand-over projects within cost, time schedule, quality and functionality are executed by engineers within their technical area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Compliance with industrial standards and GMP guidelines is ensured.

2. Engineers participate in maintenance/reliability reviews of new projects and follow up on any infrastructure/civil work task in the production plant.

3. Change over operations for production equipment are supervised to improve productivity of equipment and coaches and motivates new team members.

4. Project HSE management is performed and project safety stops/reviews are executed.

5. State-of-the-art technical solutions are applied according to compliance standards and HSE regulations.

6. Projects on site are developed through their various stages of scope, definition, approval and implementation.

7. Permits for maintenance / calibration / projects are obtained and work orders for maintenance / calibration are executed as per method statement / procedure.

8. Calibration execution and documentation support building organizational culture in line with Sandoz values.
