Job Title: Infrastructure Support Specialist

At VAM Systems, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team in Bahrain. As an Infrastructure Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support and maintenance for our infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting multiple applications in the production environment
  • Managing incident, problem, and knowledge management processes at all levels
  • Analyzing and resolving live production issues efficiently
  • Reviewing, approving, implementing, and verifying scheduled changes
  • Coordinating with technology and functional stakeholders during tactical and strategic issue remediation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SQL programming with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
  • Experience in production platform support/management and troubleshooting incidents
  • Scripting skills in Shell/Bash
  • Power BI reports, visualization dashboards, and data exploration experience
  • Monitoring and scheduling tools experience, such as Control-M and Autosys
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) programming experience
