Job Title: HR Generalist

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian labor laws, with the ability to create and implement effective HR policies.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, collaborating with employees across multiple regions.

  1. Draft, review, and implement HR policies in line with Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
  2. Ensure compliance with all legal, payroll, and statutory obligations across regions.

Culture Building

  1. Design and run initiatives that build a strong, inclusive company culture.
  2. Be the voice of the company's vision, ensuring employees feel connected and valued.
  3. Conduct regular check-ins with teams across locations to understand concerns and drive solutions.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  1. Manage end-to-end recruitment for various roles (sales, projects, facilitators, content).
  2. Build a strong pipeline of talent through proactive sourcing.
  3. Create a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

Performance & Development

  1. Implement and manage KRAs, KPIs, and appraisal cycles.
  2. Work with department heads to identify skill gaps and organize training programs.

HR Operations & Technology

  1. Manage HRIS (Zoho People) for attendance, leaves, performance, and employee data.
  2. Generate reports and insights for leadership to support decision-making.

Business Partnership

  1. Act as a trusted advisor to department heads and leadership.
  2. Collaborate with all functions to ensure HR initiatives align with business needs.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including strong exposure to:
  • Indian labor laws & compliance
  • Policy drafting & implementation
  • Employee engagement across regions
  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho People or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – approachable, empathetic, and a people person.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate across departments.

Good-To-Have (Advantages):

  • Experience in L&D or training industry (helpful to understand business context).
  • Certification in labor law, HR analytics, or employee relations.
  • Exposure to culture-building initiatives in growing organizations.
  • Experience in HR digital transformation and automation projects.
