Editorial Excellence Lead

We seek an experienced professional to oversee our Editorial Review Team. As the go-to expert in scientific manuscript review, you will drive rigorous standards and efficiency in our review and peer review processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Review and Peer Review Teams to foster a collaborative culture
  • Oversee the complete manuscript review workflow from submission to publication
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput and reduce timelines
  • Maintain high standards of scientific rigor, editorial excellence, and ethical publishing practices
  • Collaborate with our Editorial Department to provide authors with a clear, streamlined experience
  • Track key performance metrics, ensuring alignment with departmental goals

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in life sciences
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or scientific publishing
  • Demonstrated success in leading editorial or review teams
  • Strong knowledge of peer review models and open access publishing
  • Experience with digital publishing platforms and workflow automation tools
