Main Responsibilities:
  • Business Development & Institutional Growth:
    • IDentify and pursue opportunities with foundations, multilaterals, corporates, and government agencies.
    • Conceptualize and design proposals tailored to client needs.
    • Forge partnerships to expand our footprint.
  • Project Design, Management & Implementation:
    • Lead project design and delivery.
    • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, including stakeholder engagement, field data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Monitor project teams on ground and troubleshoot to ensure timely delivery.
    • Ensure outputs maintain high standards of rigor and alignment with global evidence frameworks.
  • Research, Evidence & Knowledge Translation:
    • Translate academic frameworks into actionable strategies.
    • Produce high-quality reports and strategy notes that inform decision-making.
    • Contribute to our knowledge assets by developing case studies and thematic notes.
  • Data Management & Analytics:
    • Clean and manage large datasets using advanced Excel, R, or Python.
    • Develop data quality protocols to ensure reliable insights.
    • Support dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Organizational Strategy & growth:
    • Work closely with the CEO to shape our growth strategy.
    • Design organizational structures to strengthen internal capacity.
    • Lead internal strategy workshops aligning teams with our mission.
  • Team Leadership & Capacity Building:
    • Build and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
    • Define individual and team roles during fieldwork, data analysis, reporting, and client interactions.
    • Build internal capacities through ongoing guidance and training.

Key Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in research, analytics, monitoring and evaluation, or related fields.
  • Theoretical foundation with ability to apply frameworks to practical client needs.
  • Proven track record in proposal development, project design, and research execution.
  • High-level data analysis skills, including Excel, R, or Python.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within small teams.
