Job Title:
Java Engineering Director

We are seeking an experienced Java Engineering Director to lead our team in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-performance Java applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and excellence within our organization.

About the Role:
As a Java Engineering Director, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery and maintain a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing team members to improve their technical capabilities and development speed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and testing of high-performance Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Mentor and develop team members to improve their technical capabilities and development speed.
• Own architectural decisions and ensure high code quality through reviews and best practices.
• Maintain a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Continuously explore and implement new technologies to improve development productivity and product quality.

Requirements:
• 7 to 10 years of hands-on Java development experience, including experience in leading small to mid-sized teams and managing technical delivery.
• Strong experience in building complex products/applications and distributed systems from the ground up.
• Solid understanding of OOP principles, Java internals, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
• Proven ability to design and deliver high-performance systems with speed and precision.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and project ownership abilities.
• B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA from IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, IIITs, or other top-tier institutions.
• Prior recognitions, awards, or rapid growth within previous organizations is a big plus.
