Senior Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing large-scale data processing systems using cloud-based services.

  • You will be responsible for developing and enhancing complex data pipelines using AWS services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Design and develop robust databases with logical and physical designs, star schema, snowflake schema, and other optimized data structures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze data processing requirements, integrate data sources, and define data loading strategies to optimize data flow.
  • Study existing technology landscapes, understand current data integration frameworks, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 7-9 years of IT experience with a focus on cloud computing, big data technologies, and data engineering.
  • AWS certifications (Associate Level and Professional Level) and expertise in developing ETL workflows.
  • Programming language skills in Scala, Python, Shell Scripts, PySpark, and operating system skills in Linux and Windows.
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and strong understanding of cloud databases (AWS Aurora, Singlestore, RedShift, Snowflake).
