AI Research Scientist

Job Summary:

As an AI Research Scientist, you will be working with our Advanced AI Labs research team to develop novel approaches to solving fundamental scientific problems and challenges from real-world applications.

The role focuses on advancing the state-of-the-art AI with emphasis on Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and domain-specific AI solutions.

You will collaborate with researchers, engineers, business stakeholders, architects, and domain experts to translate research breakthroughs into scalable products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced research in AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, and adjacent fields to solve complex and impactful business and societal problems (AI-for-Good).
  • Design, develop, and optimize models and algorithms involving novel architecture and training methodologies and advance AI capabilities.
  • Publish research findings in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams, AI engineers, domain SMEs, and client teams to transition research prototypes into production-ready solutions.
  • Mentor junior researchers and engineers and advise AI engineers on the development of practical applications.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science or another technical field, with exceptional bachelor's or master's degree candidates also considered.
  • The ideal candidate will have theoretical and hands-on experience with LLMs, as well as 2 years of experience with multi-agents and 5+ years of experience in AI or ML research.
  • Publications at venues such as IEEE, ICLR, NeurIPS, GECCO, ALife, AAAI, IJCAI, ICML, etc., and strong implementation skills in Python.
  • Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Keras, Scikit-Learn, and strong problem-solving and analytic skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong publication record in top-tier conferences, workshops, or journals.
