Job Description:

As a Senior/Staff Post Silicon Validation Engineer- DDR, you'll play a critical role in developing sophisticated compute subsystems and solutions. Our team is responsible for delivering secure, performant, and reliable hardware and software that's easy to use. We're looking for a creative engineer with a knowledge of subsystems and SoCs to own and lead validating IP validation methodology for subsystems/solutions related to DDR5.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute validation plans, debug methodologies, and test content for DDR-5 validation.
  • Work closely with project teams to understand, review, and develop end-to-end plans for DDR-5 starting from verification, emulation, and post-silicon validation.
  • Own and lead the enhancement of validation methodologies used by the team, working closely with board teams, equipment vendors, systems teams, and others.
  • Guide other team members to enable the successful completion of project activities.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in silicon validation for sophisticated SoCs and ASIC products.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of DDR-4/5 or other high-speed protocols is a must.
  • Experience with validation test content using C, C++, and other programming languages.
  • Exposure to all stages of silicon validation, including use-case validation.
  • Ability to work under time-scale pressure and meet ambitious targets without compromising on quality.
  • Understanding of computer architecture and systems.
  • Practical experience with processor-based system designs.
  • Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (e.g., Tcl, Perl, Python).
Preferred Skills:
  • Demonstrated understanding of CPU/GPU subsystems in SoC environments and proven expertise in owning validation requirements and validation plans.
  • Hands-on experience in validating multiple subsystems for ASICs/SoCs in system environments, owning all phases of validation (test development, execution, and debug) for owned subsystems.
