Job Description

Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products to the offshore energy industry. As a leader in our field, we require a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily and month-end general ledger accounting activities, including compiling and analyzing financial information, preparing entries to accounts, and reconciling financial discrepancies. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness. You will also prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash forecasts, as well as categorize financial transactions according to company policy and accounting standards.

Main Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a commerce graduate or above, with a minimum of 5+ years' experience in accounting operations with an international company. Professional accountancy qualifications are essential, along with excellent knowledge of accounting principles and advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills are also required, as well as the ability to handle difficult customers and work under pressure.
