We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced In-House Accountant to manage financial transactions, GST filings, payroll processing, and overall bookkeeping using Zoho accounting software. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, compliance regulations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • GST Compliance: Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns), reconcile GST liabilities, and ensure timely tax payments.
  • Payroll Processing: Manage payroll, employee reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS) while ensuring timely salary disbursement.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Handle TDS calculations, returns, and filings. Ensure compliance with all regulatory tax obligations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow statements, and MIS reports.
  • Vendor & Expense Management: Process vendor payments, manage invoices, and ensure proper documentation for audits.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank transactions, verify statements, and handle cash flow management.
  • Software Management: Work with Zoho Books and Zoho Payroll for efficient financial management.
  • Audit & Internal Controls: Assist with internal and external audits, maintaining proper documentation and financial controls.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an in-house role.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI).
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books, Zoho Payroll, and MS Excel.
  • Excellent understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a mid-sized or growing company.
  • Familiarity with automation in Zoho for financial processes.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance and budgeting.
