Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Daily Social Content: Create eye-catching Instagram carousels, reels covers, short video graphics, YouTube thumbnails, story templates, creatives, and WhatsApp broadcast art that drive engagement and shares.
  • Own the Visual System: Maintain and evolve TaxBuddy's social brand guidelines, typography, color, iconography, and illustration style to ensure consistency and excellence in visual storytelling.
  • Concept to Creative: Translate content briefs into clear, concise, and visually appealing narratives that resonate with audiences and align with TaxBuddy's goals.
  • Motion and Video Support: Develop lightweight motion graphics (titles, lower-thirds, transitions) and edit simple reels when needed to enhance visual impact.
  • Data-Driven Design: Analyze performance metrics and iterate design decisions to optimize results, ensuring rapid A/B tests and data-informed decision-making.
  • Speed and Quality: Balance speed and quality to deliver quick news-reactive posts without compromising clarity or brand tone.
Requirements:
  • Hands-On Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on social design experience for consumer brands or media, preferably in finance/fintech.
  • Strong Portfolio: Showcase a robust portfolio of Instagram-first work, including carousels, thumbnails, short-form graphics, and data illustrations that demonstrate expertise and creativity.
  • Proficiency in Tools: Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator); basic knowledge of After Effects/Premiere for motion graphics and video editing.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure sharp attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy in design execution.
  • Cultural Relevance: Ability to adapt to culturally relevant content and tone, with fluency in English and working knowledge of Hinglish.
