Senior Big Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Big Data Engineer to drive the development of cutting-edge data analytics platforms.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and Hudi. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable data processing pipelines using big data technologies.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and analysts to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models, algorithms, and software applications.
  • Work with cloud-based infrastructure, including Terraform and AWS services.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in big data engineering, with a strong focus on data processing, analytics, and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Scala.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, Hudi, and Drill.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and data governance principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

We welcome candidates with a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Candidates with equivalent industry experience and relevant skills will also be considered.
