Scientific Laboratory Technician Role

This is a role that requires individuals with scientific knowledge and skills to work in a laboratory setting.

About the Job

  • The main responsibility of this role will be to perform routine analyses to support effective project completion and meet client agreements.
  • Perform analytical measurements, report results, and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  • Assist in training others in processes, quality standards, health and safety protocols, and basic analysis techniques.
  • Interface with team members and stakeholders to provide high-quality customer partnership at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to operate lab equipment, including basic analytical techniques under supervision.
  • Proficiency in specific software packages required for the role, including generic and proprietary tools.
  • Strong understanding of statistics, particularly using Minitab or Microsoft Excel.
  • Awareness and hands-on experience with LIMS software for data entry.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
