Endoscopy Technician Responsibilities Prepare and set up the endoscopy room ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order Assist healthcare professionals in performing endoscopic procedures by providing technical support and maintaining a sterile field Clean disinfect and sterilize endoscopy equipment ensuring compliance with infection control protocols Retrieve and process specimens for laboratory analysis ensuring proper documentation and storage Maintain accurate and complete patient records including documentation of procedures performed patient vitals and any complications or adverse events Assist with patient positioning and comfort during endoscopic procedures ensuring their safety and well-being Monitor patients during procedures promptly reporting any changes in their condition to the healthcare team Assist with the troubleshooting and maintenance of endoscopy equipment coordinating repairs when necessary Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Endoscopy Technician Required Skills Knowledge of endoscopic procedures and equipment including colonoscopy gastroscopy and bronchoscopy Proficiency in setting up and operating endoscopy equipment including video systems endoscopes and related accessories Ability to maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 36 694 48 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund
