Endoscopy Technician

Equipment Preparation and Maintenance Setting up cleaning disinfecting and calibrating endoscopes and other equipment according to manufacturer and facility standards Assisting During Procedures Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures including passing instruments positioning patients and monitoring vital signs Patient Care Assisting patients with preparation ensuring their comfort and safety during the procedure and potentially collecting specimens Sterilization and Infection Control Maintaining a sterile environment cleaning and sterilizing equipment after procedures and following infection control protocols Inventory and Documentation Managing equipment and supply inventories documenting procedures and maintaining accurate records Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills Proficiency in handling and maintaining endoscopic equipment understanding sterilization procedures and assisting with various endoscopic techniques Communication Skills Effective communication with physicians nurses and patients as well as the ability to follow instructions and document procedures accurately Attention to Detail Ensuring thorough cleaning proper equipment setup and accurate record-keeping Physical Stamina The ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning and movement Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology Understanding basic human anatomy and physiology particularly related to the gastrointestinal system Career Advancement Endoscopy technicians may advance to roles with greater responsibility such as Senior Technician Taking on more complex tasks training junior technicians and potentially managing equipment inventory Lead Technician Overseeing the endoscopy unit coordinating procedures and ensuring compliance with standards and protocols Job Type Full-time Pay Up to 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Leave encashment Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Nagercoil Tamil Nadu Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Application Question s How many years of experience you have in a Supervisory role Experience total work 6 years Preferred Work Location In person
